On her CD that I have it's "that's fine I'll tell mine you're gay". If you heard it the other way on the radio, then it might be the edited version. Just like in Teardrops on my Guitar, on the CD it's "I laugh cause it's so damn funny" and on the radio it's "I laugh cause it's just so funny".

I'm sick to death of the PC bull(edit) that is going on in this country. The FCC has rules on what can and can't be said on the radio, that shoutaylor swift change lyricsld be enough. But no, one group starts whining something is offensive, then another and here we are.
Nowhere in the constitution do I see where is says you have the right to not be offended. To all the cry baby groups out there, go (edit) yourself!
she takes out gay on the CD and radio because its probaly edited and she doesn't want gay on her CD or radio
It's a radio edit. It's probably offensive to some. If you get her CD I'm sure it says gay.
I guess it is the edited version. She sings it edited in contaylor swift change lyricscerts as well. When she made the cd I don't think she knew what an impact she would have on the younger fans. She is seen as a wonderful role model now and I don't think she wanted to do anything to take away that image.
I just realized this edit in the song today on the radio. I agree with everyone else in saying that it must be because it could offend some people, although I can't find an official statement explaining it. Ridiculous though, isn't it? Everything these days has to be so PC.
It's probably the radio edited version.......
